Today, January 4th, we at the Foundation for Inclusive Education (FIED) proudly join the global community in to celebrate International Braille Day. This special day honors the birth of Louis Braille, the genius behind the Braille system.
As an organization dedicated to promoting inclusive education, we recognize the transformative power of Braille. This revolutionary tactile writing method has empowered millions of visually impaired individuals worldwide, unlocking their potential and fostering independence.

At FIED, we believe that every individual deserves equal access to education and opportunities. Braille embodies this spirit of inclusivity, breaking down barriers and creating a more equitable society.
As we celebrate International Braille Day, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing inclusive education and promoting Braille literacy. We urge governments, educators, and communities to join us in this endeavor.
Together, we can create a world where every individual, regardless of ability, can read, learn, and thrive. Happy International Braille Day!
Sincerely,
Ebenezer Nkegoah
