The Foundation for Inclusive Education (FIED) is a small but impactful NGO based in Cameroon that champions inclusive education, peace, and social justice.
Led by Executive Director Nkegoah Ebenezer, it works to ensure that children, especially from vulnerable or marginalized backgrounds, have equitable access to quality schooling, especially those with disabilities.
In addition to education, the foundation supports related areas including water, sanitation, hygiene, and IT assistance, often in collaboration with community partners
rovides scholarships, learning materials, and school reintegration support for vulnerable children, especially those with disabilities, to access quality and inclusive education.
Promotes hygiene and sanitation in schools through handwashing stations, clean water access, menstrual health education, and hygiene clubs.
Raises awareness and provides support tools to promote the rights, participation, and dignity of persons with disabilities in schools and communities.
Engages children and communities in peace education, rights awareness, and civic action for inclusion and conflict prevention.
At FIED, we envision a world where every child, regardless of ability, background, or circumstance—has equal access to quality education and the opportunity to thrive in a just, inclusive, and peaceful society. Through collaboration, compassion, and community engagement, we strive to build a future where no one is left behind.
“Before FIED supported my son with school materials and a scholarship, he had dropped out due to financial hardship. Today, he is back in school, learning with confidence, and even received a wheelchair through their program. May God bless FIED for remembering children like ours.”
“I had never used a computer before, but thanks to FIED’s weekend ICT program, I now know how to type, search online, and even help my classmates. I want to become a software engineer one day. Thank you FIED for showing me what is possible.”
“FIED has been a true partner in promoting inclusive education in our school. Their workshops have helped our teachers understand how to support learners with special needs, and they provided handwashing stations to improve hygiene. Their impact is lasting.”
